Shipping policy

This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed on BabyEssentials.ie and delivered within Ireland.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Shipping Fees

• A flat shipping fee of €6.99 applies to all orders below €50.  
• Orders with a total value of €50 or more qualify for free standard delivery.

All shipping charges are clearly displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

All prices displayed on BabyEssentials.ie include applicable VAT.

2. Processing & Dispatch Times

Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Irish Time) on business days are normally dispatched on the same day.

Orders placed after this time, on weekends, or on public holidays will be dispatched on the next business day.

Processing time: 1–2 business day (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Dispatch is subject to payment authorisation and fraud prevention checks where applicable.

3. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery within Ireland typically takes 4–5 business days from the date of dispatch.

Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to operational factors, carrier activity, seasonal volumes, weather conditions, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

In accordance with EU consumer protection law and Irish consumer rights legislation, goods will be delivered no later than 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise expressly agreed.

4. Carriers

Orders are primarily shipped using DPD.

We reserve the right to use alternative reputable carriers where operationally necessary.

5. Address Changes

The delivery address cannot be changed once the order has been dispatched.

6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.

If an order has already been shipped, please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy.

7. Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at contact@babyessentials.ie.

If possible, take photographs of the damaged packaging and contents to assist with our investigation.

8. Order Cut-Off Time

The daily order cut-off time is 12:00 PM (Irish Time), Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed before 12:00 PM (Irish Time) will be processed the same business day.

Orders placed after 12:00 PM, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
