This system is suitable for infants with conditions such as cleft lip or palate, tongue-tie (ankyloglossia), high-arched palate, oro-neuromotor dysfunction, and other craniofacial or syndromic feeding difficulties.

Unlike squeeze-based feeding systems, the Dr. Brown’s Specialty Feeding System allows babies to control milk flow using natural tongue and jaw movements, supporting safer, more comfortable feeding.

Infant-Paced Feeding Technology

The system uses the Dr. Brown’s Infant-Paced Feeding Valve, which inserts into any Dr. Brown’s narrow-neck silicone nipple. When paired with the Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow bottle, it creates a gentle compression-based feeding experience that does not require manual squeezing by the caregiver.
